Eligibility & Requirements

Oston Charity Foundation provides limited, short-term assistance to individuals and families experiencing temporary hardship. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to available resources.

Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee assistance.


Who Is Eligible

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be an individual or household experiencing financial or life hardship

  • Be part of the Tajik community in the United States

  • Be currently located in the United States (temporary or permanent stay)

  • Be facing a temporary and verifiable hardship

  • Demonstrate a genuine need for short-term assistance

Priority consideration may be given to families with children and to applicants facing urgent or emergency situations.


Funding Availability & Fundraising Notice

Oston Charity Foundation operates through charitable donations. In some cases, funds may not be immediately available to provide assistance.

If sufficient funds are not available at the time of review, the Foundation may initiate a fundraising campaign on behalf of the applicant, subject to internal review and approval.

Please note:

  • Fundraising does not guarantee that funds will be raised

  • The timing and outcome of fundraising efforts depend on donor support

  • Assistance can only be provided if sufficient funds are successfully raised


Types of Assistance Considered

Assistance may include, but is not limited to:

  • Emergency support for critical situations

  • Temporary financial assistance

  • Essential basic needs support (case-based)

Oston Charity Foundation does not provide long-term or ongoing financial assistance.


Required Information & Documentation

To evaluate requests fairly and responsibly, applicants may be asked to provide:

  • Valid government-issued identification (any country)

  • Proof of current location in the United States

  • Description of the hardship or emergency

  • Supporting documents when available (medical bills, notices, letters, or similar evidence)

In certain situations, particularly emergencies, assistance may be considered even if full documentation is not immediately available.


Important Conditions

  • Assistance is provided on a one-time or short-term basis

  • Submission of an application does not guarantee approval or funding

  • Fundraising efforts may be required before assistance can be provided

  • All information provided must be accurate and truthful

  • Providing false or misleading information may result in denial

  • Decisions made by Oston Charity Foundation are final


Confidentiality

All applications and personal information are handled with strict confidentiality and are used solely for the purpose of reviewing and processing assistance requests.


When to Apply

If you are experiencing a temporary hardship and believe you meet the eligibility criteria, you may submit a request for assistance at any time.

If you are in immediate or life-threatening danger, please contact 911 or local emergency services. Oston Charity Foundation does not provide emergency medical or law enforcement services.
